As I gaze up these days I find myself
asking if my Mother Earth is alright
and her voice is tired within her kind reply
especially during a cloud-filled sky and her breathing
is labored her patience dwindles each time I ask
and she often wonders if I am still listening through her complaints
her weathered rage do I still see her (more…)

again the light from within
warming the backs of those who hold you
dear no matter if you are faced with fears
questioning what is or what might be, it is

Redwoods, they are majestic silent and massive. This particular beauty lives 8 feet from the back corner of my house. Its trunk is so massive there are two 250 ft. trees growing from it. Quite a place to spend time. Allowing worries to wander up into the treetops while a silent blanket of peace replaces them. I am thankful she watches over my home, my boys, my worries. So thankful.
