Now for week 3 of Photography 101. I am really enjoying the themes each day and writing too. I continue to learn and grow and appreciate the continued support of my readers and family. I know this is a long post, but it is a great exercise for me each day. Thanks for following along.

The clouds were churning, collecting, amassing into a thick lid ready to close tight. I picked up my son from school and took a detour home. As I turned left, towards “the bottoms” I felt butterflies in my stomach. I was so excited to chase the clouds. I gave my boys, both wide-eyed in the backseat, a run down of my expectations. I wanted to photograph the clouds and maybe some farms too and I needed their cooperation. (more…)
I must admit, I was highly challenged by this theme. I don’t usually see images this way. I like to capture the big picture even if it is in a tiny detail of a flower. But, I love minimalist images, they are inviting, tell a story simply and there is a beautiful artistic quality to many of them. (more…)
