Forest Light

And yet there it is
again the light from within
warming the backs of those who hold you
dear no matter if you are faced with fears
questioning what is or what might be, it is
for sure light held in love is ever bright
within a darkened forest waiting
for you to find and carry softly out
to share, spread and trust
it is more than enough

    1. Thank you for taking the time to read and comment. Yes, today is full of deep emotions and the forest always makes me feel like I am not alone. Hope and light live there for me and I love being reminded of that!

    1. Hello, Cybele. I noticed your image this week and appreciated that field. We have one at our local marsh that reminds me of it with the queen anne’s lace taller than the grass. I also thought of you as this image took shape, it has a hue and feel that I recognize you taking your images to often. It felt like a familiar special place I was ready to explore! Thank you.

    1. Hello Janet, I so understand your troubled heart and find such strength in knowing the concern and heartache so many women and men I respect are feeling. I am awakened, I am building an inner army, I am breathing deep and I will spread this light as long and as wide as I can! May your heart lift you to act in ways that make you uncomfortable while making a difference near and far. Hope and love to you, I haven’t had a quiet moment to comment on your piece today yet. I will find one soon enough.

  1. Hi Carrie
The forest looks so strong and the beatiful light filtering amid it’s strength. I can walk from the forest I have been spending time in for a while. It has been dense, no end in sight, but suddenly I seen the beautiful light drawing me closer with each little step.
The forest trees aren’t dense an filling me with fear anymore, they are standing tall and strong, covered in a beautiful light filled with a sense of freedom, a combination that depicts exactly how I feel right now.
Today I walk out of hospital cancer free and with so much to be grateful for, it takes my breath away. Freedom such as this news has delivered, is the light at the end of the forest..
Plain and simple relief and gratitude. .
Your photography always tells us a story, your words always tell us that story so beautifully.
Hugs from across the miles Carrie
I am having an amazing grateful day
I wish for you the same.
