Spreading out

Softly she wanders sometimes
fading into backgrounds melding
coloring with her fingers so she doesn’t stir too much
tip toeing around lips tight
body taut shoulders high with few expressions
on the outside although so much churning
within ready
to get messy bold wild dance in the moonlight
opening to the beauty from the
inside spreading out

  1. I enjoyed the softness of the image paired with the sharp contrast of the poem in which a woman can wander softly in the background and yet is “ready to get messy bold wild dance in the moonlight” This post is quite wonderful, Carrie.
