I photographed this tree last spring, it is located in the middle of the parking lot where my son meets for gymnastics. I wondered how it would fare this year. Well, with all the rain, there are double the blooms. I am sure I was wandering under this tree finding angle after beautiful angle for 30 minutes or more. Time well spent.
I said yes to the challenge from Pike at ArtKorppi II, post nature images for 7 days. Her images remind me of walking silently through nature, she peeks quietly through her neck of the woods giving me a sense of what it must be like to be a small animal living where she lives. I adore the perspective she offers through her lens. Please do take a look at her blog if you love to get lost in nature. And, if you are interested in participating in this challenge as well please let me know in the comments. I will nominate 7 bloggers on day 7.
You have lovely soft colours In these photos. Beautiful tree! (We don’t have this kind of tree).
Thank you, Pike. Yes, those colors are natural, I didn’t do much in processing them. The light was enchanting that evening! I was reaching into the tree with my camera on my tiptoes hoping to capture the scope of the blooms and softness of the light. It filled me up. Living here is such a pleasure, especially with blooming trees everywhere!
Lovely, sounds a paradise!
I can see, and understand, the wandering around, taking shot after shot. Beautifully photographed!
Awe, that means a lot, Laurie. It was a beautiful evening to dance with this tree! Thank you.
