When this hyacinth first started blooming it was only the tight pine cone like center. I noticed it right away and thought it was an odd flower I had never seen before. About two weeks later there were beautiful purple flowers blossoming around that tight core. I was amazed as I always am when it comes to nature, they looked like they were floating. We have all enjoyed seeing the transformation of this grouping of flowers over the past month.
I said yes to the challenge from Pike at ArtKorppi II, post nature images for 7 days. Her images remind me of walking silently through nature, she peeks quietly through her neck of the woods giving me a sense of what it must be like to be a small animal living where she lives. I adore the perspective she offers through her lens. Please do take a look at her blog if you love to get lost in nature. And, if you are interested in participating in this challenge as well please let me know in the comments. I will nominate 7 bloggers on day 7.
Wonderful colours!
Hello Leya, thank you. They really are so eye-catching.
Wonderful flowers!
Aren’t they wild, Pike! I can’t get over how they bloom. They have been so fun to watch over the course of their blooming process.
I haven’t seen them before. And not here. So many species in the world! They are really beautiful!
Fascinating to see them develop. Lovely series of pictures Carrie.
Thank you, Katie. I love that this set was all found on the same plant at the same time! It is such an interesting blooming process.
