I wish I could say that I know what type of flowering plant this is. If you do, please comment below, I am curious.
I was walking along a local favorite trail that follows the Mad River when I spotted these blooms almost ready to blossom. They were at least 2 1/2 ft long, each bloom connected to the next. I found them strange, unique and very interesting the closer I got to them.
It’s very unusual! I like the repeating pattern.
I thought so too, Laura. I kept staring at it trying to figure out how I was going to photograph it to capture it’s uniqueness and length!
Isn’t it a fun challenge to try and represent something seen onto an image? Nicely done!
I’ve never seen a plant like this one, Carrie. I wish one of your readers could identify it for us.
I know, I wish one of my readers was a botany wiz. I may have to do some more research on these flowers. They were really interesting.
