From the photograph to the peaceful title, to the last word of the poem, this is lovely.
I wrote this yesterday, while at the park giving my boys an opportunity to soak up some sun and unleash some energy. As the words slowly made their way to the page I felt a sense of accomplishment around this year and how many times I have stopped in the midst of life to listen, to be still and soft. It is a gift I have given myself through out this year. I am really proud of that 🙂
