WPC: Now

One foot than another
synchronized
to the beat of life’s musical number
crunching
with the leaves and gravel below
waking me
to the here and now
allowing
the light to wash over my brow
warming
me inside and out

**This post is part of the Weekly Photo Challenge, this week’s theme is, “Now”. On Christmas morning after the mayhem of presents opened and expectations met or not, the sun came out after many days of rain. It was my favorite present of all.
