Jolly Old Soul

Bright children’s wishes glistening
along the skyline
giving reindeer invisible wings
and the dark of winter some happy delight
because we believe
in the joy
of giving and the legend
of the jolly old soul

For the month of December Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Madness has a theme each week. This week is Santa or Elf. You can find all the entries HERE.

  1. I adore this Santa Claus, he is everything my childhood imagined him to be, each delightful detail highlighted by the absence of color. Where did you find him? I’m glad that you, too, think most of us believe in the” joy of giving;” that’s what the season is all about.

    1. Isn’t he just so delightful! My mother-in-law gave us a fold out of this Santa. There are I think 6 of him holding hands, they accordion perfectly to stand on their own and make a wonderful background to any holiday flavored display. It was a lucky find at the last minute but I really loved how his details held in the monochrome image. He makes me feel better just looking at him!
