Sitting within
the view rolling
around inside my head a mix
of details and beautiful
Blur
opening my heart
those dreams have marinated
for so much of my life waiting
longing for the timing
to align I can sense
it’s coming together those whispers
are getting louder
Soon
those blurry edges
I have walked toward without
knowing where I am going
are coming into focus because I trusted
more than I could

Oh Carrie – such lovely heartfelt words and beautifully descriptive image 🙂
Thank you, Robyn. I loved this view, up high on a ridge looking into the ocean. It started singing when I tried it in monochrome.
There are a lot of exciting things coming together, finally. Our momentum has shifted, the dream of moving here working out for our whole family is turning into a reality and it feels so good to have trusted the feeling that this was the right move! My words are celebrating, I will be soon too 🙂
I am so happy for you all Carrie – that is very good news and is reflected in your beautiful words and image 😃
Thank you, thank you!!
Beautiful words.Spotted this gorgeous shot on Leanne Cole’s blog. The delicate sepia tone is lovely. I’m partial to macro photography and this is a wonderful capture.
Thank you for coming to see more after finding my image on Leanne Cole’s MMC. That is great to hear.
I am partial to macro work as well. I can’t get close enough! Words and photographs live together for me, the photographs have something to say 🙂 Looking forward to seeing your work as well. Thanks again.
The idea of marinating dreams is so intriguing to me; it sent me off into a web of thought and imaginings.
Ahh yes, I really like thinking of my thoughts and dreams marinating, there is something hopeful and profound about that thought! I love that you got caught up on that 🙂 Thank you so much, Janet!
A beautiful monochrome and I love the poem – I get a real sense of the elation of dreams finally coming to fruition.
That is so lovely to hear, Louise because they ARE. It is a hopeful feeling! I am happy to hear you enjoyed the monochrome, it surprised me that it worked 🙂
