This time of year, the fog rarely burns off. We are so close to the ocean and the fog is the signature weather needed for the redwoods to continue to thrive. It only takes driving east, maybe 15 miles sometimes a few more, and you are out of the fog but still in the trees.
We were on the way to a camping site just down the road. Our car was tightly packed with food, camping gear and anticipation. Searching for blue sky at the beginning of summer…looks promising.

Lovely, I want to know whats around the corner. I am envious that you have yellow lines in the middle wheras we have boring white – not so thrilling in pictures 🙂

Ahh yes, dense forests with roads meandering through them are one of my favorite things too. Like if you are not careful you may start to time-travel or something!
