Good morning to
you warm light warming
my face waking me slowly
so I can embrace
the day with
grace
** This post is part of the weekly photo challenge. I am not an early bird, although I love the feeling of waking up with the birds and the sun I rarely do it. This view, the quiet, the fog rolling over the trail, my shoes wet with morning dew, the freshness only there as the sun wakes up, it was well worth my early rising.

Beautiful capture, Carrie! I’m exactly the same when it comes to early mornings – I love them, and love being out and about at that time of day, but I’m dreadful at getting up in order to see them!
🙂 Yes. Part of it is I need a nap when I do it. My body clock likes to wake up slow and around 6.30. Any earlier and I crash about 3 pm. I am always so happy once I am up but don’t do it often enough.
Thank you, this was a really special morning. We were camping so I had no excuse but to get up and enjoy the view 🙂

I am interested in learning more about the weekly photo challenge. Is it a project only local to you Carrie or other bloggers and Interested photographers able to participate? I have been tinkering around with my blogsite, I underestimated how difficult it is to bring things together. I also want to select sites that take my eye and read every story the author has written. I love your site. I would be so happy if I can eventually connect with people and share my stories just as you and Aunt Beulah have done. The Weekly Photo Challenge is put on by WordPress, each Friday they post a new subject to photograph and you have the following week to post about it on your blog and link it with their post. The details for how to do it are here, https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/ the theme for this week is “seasons”.
The best way to connect is to post content on your blog, tag your posts so others can find them and “follow” blogs you enjoy and want to read/comment. It is a slow process in some ways but tagging your posts are the most likely way of finding readers and connecting. The weekly photo challenge and weekly writing challenge through WordPress is a very large audience so, it would be a great start.
