Circle In

Whispers on the
Winds come and sleep
On the ground get close
To the greens that feed

Your everything promise
Your boys
They can be wild and free
Breathe in the moist

Thick soft air to replenish
Your spring
Touch your feet
To the ground to your mother

Your friend
All will be centered
As it is meant
Circle in

    1. Thank you, Janet! I wrote this the morning I posted it. I was on my way out the door to take my boys camping. Just me, my boys (my husband was out of town with his geology students this weekend) and the redwoods. I could hear my sweet soul whispering her joy and excitement at the thought of sleeping under the giants and dig into the spring in the woods.
We are just back…it was such a wonderful trip, full of childhood magic and wonderful memories I will treasure. Pictures aplenty…I am sure poems to follow too 🙂

  1. I’m so happy to have a moment to be visiting blogs, especially when the focus is on spring. Love the words “Breathe in the moist Thick soft air to replenish …”
    Lovely post

    1. Thank you, Laurie. I am so glad those words made you stop and take a drink 🙂 Spring is a wonder! I haven’t felt her uneasy opening for quite a long while, it is refreshing and invigorating 🙂

Please take a moment, comments encouraged.
