Weekly Photo Challenge: Orange

Instantly warm
And deep, soft
And bright
Orange engages the light

The moment, the night
The glow just
As the day is done a tone
The fall season your favorite

Flower bloom instant pop
Your shoulders
Fall your breath slows your smile
Shows your skin glows

In soft lit wonder
Shadow filled contentment
Look out the window, see
Hue brilliant orange

**The weekly photo challenge asked us to post photographs, in a gallery style, with the pop of the color orange. Click HERE to see everyone’s “Orange”.

  1. So very lovely: intriguing shades of orange in impossible places, and, always, your words. When you write poetry for your photographs, your words are splendid and true, Carrie, your true poetic voice comes through.

    1. Thank you! Sincerely, Janet. That is so lovely to hear. I really enjoyed collecting this gallery, each image has its own story and the poem, well it is my first since the poetry challenge. It felt really nice to let some words flow free 🙂 Always a pleasure to hear from you.

    1. That is so nice of you to say, Moon. Thank you. The orange glow of the sunlight is quite lovely to see and capture, this was a fun challenge this week 🙂

    1. Yes, it is all of those things Chris 🙂 My sister-in-law loves orange, I always think of her when I see a pop of it somewhere. Thanks for reading my words and enjoying the images. They are each, on their own, a story…I am happy to see them together glowing bright 🙂

Please take a moment, comments encouraged.
