We seek, greet
Warm our feet, hope
Not to mistreat, give
As much as we get
Feel
The deep embrace of it dip
Our fingers in
The sweetness soak ourselves
In the throws never questioning
Just feeling always
Searching keeping time
Drinking wine feel the touch
Of it on your lips well
Past when you last kiss
Build future on the foundation
This unexplained phenomenon swirl
In the layers the hope
The fantastic
The magnificent emotional wind
Blown loveliness of love
Undone
I love magnolias, they are so pretty, and I love how the trees look when they flower, stunning Carrie.
Me too, Leanne. They are so full and beautiful. I can’t wait to plant one of these trees in our yard once we get to the point of having a home here. Soon enough I am sure! Thank you for your kind feedback, Happy heart day!!
absolutely stunningly beautiful!
Awe, thank you, Cybele. Hope your “heart” day was beautiful!
Carrie, that last photo is wonderful with those tiny water droplets. Beautiful words, too
Thank you so much, Laurie. Yes, the last photo is my favorite too. I wanted the images to build along with the poem this time, it was really enjoyable to put this post together. Thank you for taking time to comment, I really appreciate it!
Gorgeous photos, Carrie. Magnolia blossoms are always a wonderful sight and you’ve captured them perfectly. I adore the final shot – in full bloom. The pictures are paired perfectly with the poem. 🙂
I love that last image as well! It was the first one I took, the sunlight was perfect. Magnolia blossoms are so lovely, I was happy to find out that there are more! And, they are a very unique color…I’ll get them captured soon 🙂
