Weekly Photo Challenge: Depth

Mouth of the Mad River, CA

There are some views that immediately give me a sense of the depth of life. The constant tides, the flowing river in its last turn before its welcome into the ocean, the deepening colors of the last breaths of sundown, trees clinging to an eroding hillside and the comfort of a campfire in the distance, each one of these elements create a moment I am proud to feel a part of. But, together they create deep wonder inside of me.

    1. Thank you, Cybele. My family climbed down to the river’s shore to watch the sunset. There were seals right across the river! I loved this view especially with the glow of the bonfire. Can’t wait to go back there!
