Lovely Carrie, I have those flowers in my garden.
Thank you, Leanne! They were all over the shoreline of the beach we were just at. I read, they are a pest of a plant, not native to the area and take over once they are there. I thought there color was incredible. There were yellow ones too.
I would believe that, I planted it in my garden and it is fast taking over, I will have to rip heaps of it out.
We call these cheerful flowers pigfaces I think. They are brilliant and can’t help to make you smile even when you are sad. ☺️Chris

Thank you, I am glad you appreciate it, Laurie. There is something incredible about purple and green. Really eye-catching I think. I was excited to find this beauty on an evening walk by the beach when we were camping over Thanksgiving.
