As my breath deepens so
My head falls
Back up to the sky peeking

In through the cracks in
The branches reaching
So high

The trail softly comforting
Familiar for the first time
I am not dreaming

I don’t have to
To go back

Where I actually live
I am physically here seeing
This with my own eyes

Walking feet, ferns
Brushing my pants
Spider webs sticking

To me, my boys wandering
Running, howling, climbing
Talking, never stopping

Just exploring with all
Their might, my heart
So full it is bursting

With love
For the Earth, my family
Most importantly me

This is just
The beginning of
