Waves of Change

The anxious wait for things
To change, rolling waves
Some are tame, offer relief
At my feet
Others, I find myself running
Away at full speed
The wave breaks, the water
There is reflection
And peace at least
For that moment, with intensity
The water pulls back into
The large expanse before me
Calling me
Taunting me
Jump in and leave
The safety
The beach

    1. Thank you! That means a lot actually as I am struggling at this moment to find a rhythm within all that is happening. Soon enough, I will be on the other side of all of this stress. The other side…looks so bright.

      1. Keep going my friend. One foot in front on the other. Stress is a mean creature that needs pursuing. All that we sometimes can manage is to be the soul of the moment we are in (Rumi 🙂

    1. Thank you Laura, it was a beautiful spot. I loved the fog bank hanging off the shore! Those grey’s lit by the sunset, so gorgeous.
We are in the midst of seeing if anyone wants to buy our house…it is an anxious moment in this journey. Hope to hear some good news this week!

    1. Thank you! That is the perfect word for this image. I could have stood in this moment for much longer. Thank you too, for wandering and leaving a trail of “likes” on my blog. I appreciate your work so much.
