Yes, I know, I don’t have time to learn a new computer program in the midst of all that is going on. But, it is a great outlet after packing so many boxes and herding coyotes (my boys) all day and into the night.
I like to make pretty things with, my camera, buttons, fabric, colored pencils, words, flowers even food. So, to get a 30 day free trial of a program I hear so much about, and then, to find out it is user-friendly too. I am so happy. I can stretch my images beyond my camera’s capabilities, towards my awakened vision. How cool is that?
Any tips for a beginner user?
I am all ears.
Ever since I learned how to use Lightroom I have never looked back. I think that Scott Kelby has some good tutorials on how to use it. That’s how I learned. I’m still learning things here and there with it so it’s a continuous process. The only advice I have is to try and not learn too much at once, otherwise it’s a little bit much. I always tend to try and learn small parts of the application little by little and it has been working out good for me so far. Good luck! 🙂
Great advice Justin, thank you. I think I used a tutorial on YouTube from Scott Kelby to get started! And yes, I totally agree. My brain can only hold and retain so much. So, small bits here and there 🙂
Lightroom is great! I am using it since about 9 month now and I am still learning, but I got a lot of help from the videos you can find on the adobe webpage, you can find them here: http://tv.adobe.com/show/learn-lightroom-5/
Good luck with the learning, it’s definitely worth it!
Great! Thank you for the link. I will definitely check it out! Happy to hear you like Lightroom, I am really enjoying it so far too!
